I am excited to see that Microsoft has moved towards setting up a complete passwordless Microsoft account. This is what Microsoft is calling the future of passwordless. Earlier in March 2021, when Microsoft announced the passwordless authentication, it was limited to organizations only to rollout the passwordless authentication in hybrid environments such as Azure integrated with on-premises Active Directory.

Quick Assist is the tool available in Windows 10 which can be used to establish remote connection and help the user. Quick Assist can be very useful for organisation and their service desk to support users / employees.
Some organisations might not prefer Quick Assist to be used and they might choose to uninstall it. Uninstallation can be an easy and straight forward process, but that’s not the case with Installing the quick assist.

RSAT (Remote Server Administration Tools) can be installed manually using FOD (Features on Demand). However, if your system is joined to domain and is controlled by existing WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) as Software Update point role is installed through SCCM, you won’t be able to download or deploy easily.

In this blog post, I will be going through the process of deploying Windows 10 version 20H2 task sequence using SCCM. 20H2 version also known as OS Build version 10.0.19042 requires minimum SCCM 2006 version installed. In this blog post I will be showing you how to extract enterprise wim from ISO for windows 10. With recent changes, windows 10 ISO provided by Microsoft comes with multiple edition wim file. Though it is perfectly alright if you have one single ISO as we can still deploy specific version of OS using Index number, however it is always better to get a specific edition extracted if you are going to deploy Windows 10 using SCCM with specific version only, there will be little bit saving of image size and less confusion when deploying a specific image.
